Doodle goes to college

Well seems that Cat-E Perry has finally broken free from what ever mind control drugs or voodoo that Russell had her under and they are calling it quits.

Today being the second day of the new year the above news seems to indicate that things will certainly be better in twenty twelve.

Rock Lobster by the B-52’s is an amazing song not for its lyrics, and not really for the vastness of musical chords but something about it is just really stimulating for me. Perhaps it is because it is from a time when life was far less complicated for me although at the time I didn’t think it was all that uncomplicated.

The B-52’s and other punk music I was listening to at the time was different then what other people were listening to and that was how I felt, different. So the music had an appeal that main stream music didn’t.

In other news

My dog, Wondermutt, whose name isn’t Wondermutt but I don’t have a creative nickname for her yet was much better than I expected. A friend, who also doesn’t have a creative nickname yet, came over and brought her dog, who also has no nick name. Well Wondermutt hasn’t really been around other dogs because she is so freaking hyper all the freaking time, I just didn’t trust to let her around other dogs. She has nipped a few people so there is a reason for the lack of confidence in her social skills.

She didn’t freak out on the dog or my friend. So now I think that she doesn’t like smokers or people who touch her hind quarters. Stunt boy is really the only one she lets brush her tail or back legs.

In other, other news

Doodle has left the ‘Noke for go away college. This is the first time she will be moving out of a place that hasn’t been the home of a relative. Big step in her life, while it’s just college it is a break from home that hasn’t happened before. Of course she always has a home as long as I have a home. I am a mess of emotions right now, proud, missing her, worried, excited for her, concerned and hopeful and a thousand others all at once. I know she will do well at school as she starts out on this new adventure in her life.
