The itsy, bitsy, spider...

I can’t decide if dead spiders are creepy or just sad. Really, they all die all eight in the air and it just looks tragic or they just fall and are dangling there in their own webs.

Still on the other hand they are spiders and they are ruthless killers, but that is their nature so it is not like they are doing something out of their wheelhouse.

I think spiders are really sort of cool but they aren’t really good on the close up.

You know the silhouette of a spider is cool, the close up of all their hundreds of eyes and fangs is more than a little unnerving.

Stunt boy says the only good spider is a dead spider they are just creepy. I however will let them crawl on me and will sometimes catch them by a strand of web and we have a good time of climbing and swinging.

This summer, I found a spider while standing in line while waiting to get into a store. Well the spider and I were playing up the web and down the web, which gave us plenty of elbow room while standing around and waiting on our turn in line.

It also involved us into a conversation with a kid who had goats. Goat girl told us all very interesting stories about her family and her goat farm. The other one and I told how we had a fight with machetes one time and showed her the scar in his head to prove it when she said not uh. See spiders can bring people closer together.

They also make people shriek like little bitty girls especially it you have one in your hand like a yo yo and you swing in their general direction. Seriously what is a little bitty spider on the end of some web going to do?

Well yeah I’m no entomologist so I don’t know which ones are poisonous so there is that little fact but really I’m as much risk as anyone else for messing with it in the first place.

They are ok to crawl around on your hands and stuff and long as you can see where they are on you once they get into those places you can’t seem them they certainly get a bit more creepy and crawly.

Oddly enough I just saw a spider app, spider swiper the game. Which wasn’t the inspiration for the blog it was a dead spider on the stairs are work all eight up
And swiper isn’t really a word or so says my spell checker.

So where do you stand on the whole spider thing, Fan or not?

Well, that’s all for now, other stuff tomorrow most likely

Happy Birthday if it’s your birthday and a very merry un birthday if it isn’t your birthday

  1. Regarding the visibility factor, I concur. Spider where it can be seen, mostly harmless 99% of the time. Spider in hiding, such as a brown recluse in a boot...yikes. Dead spiders, sad. They look dry, dusty and crunchy. So now to figure out your intended metaphor if there was one. Vague and cryptic, it's your M.O. I am back at blogger, obviously. My link should be on my profile. There are no spiders there. Only birds with blue feet.
