So I have a friend, I know shocking stuff … and this friend has a deficiency of sorts. It isn’t a medical condition or anything like so there isn’t really a need to send cards or prayer requests … well … no, none of that will really help much.
Well come to think of it a family member also has the same thing going on so who knows it might be genetic. But whether it is genetic or not isn’t the point.
This friend and I were talking recently and it came up well what do you, do for me because I had asked them to do something for me.
Now my request wasn’t really a huge deal just find out some information. E-zee P-zee stuff not even difficult at all.
Well I though what do I do for them, and my response was I make you feel better about your “bad” choices. Bad is in quotations because there badness is really relative to how you view the world. Now to some my friend may be morally depraved, I knew I couldn’t spell it, looking it up, hold on … ok it’s fixed but you know that already. So the depravity of my friend depends entirely where you stand on certain issues.
Now, just so we’re clear no one gets hurt in these things. So how depraved is it really. To some this friend is certainly going to burn in hell. Which isn’t something you hear people say too much these days but when they do say it, they mean it and there is no explaining yourself to that person. You just have to hang your head in shame and nod and accept that what they are saying is probably true, according to the world in their perspective.
For me it is entertaining because I’m not a part of any of the choices and there really isn’t any impact for me and I don’t really see that the things this friend is doing are wrong. They are just things people do. I also know that once this friend has things in their life going in a direction that is clearer and more clearly defined by the other involved in the direction then I really believe that this friend will adjust and be more conformist to “acceptable social norms” whatever those are, the quotes again are really relative to how you want to live your life.
So I make them feel good about their moral depravity, that’s a good thing to be right? I don’t think I’ll get the information I want but I’ll still try to make that person feel good about there bad choices when I know about them.
I don’t get to make bad choices anymore. Well I suppose I could but I don’t have the money or the right tools anymore. SOFUCT.
In other news.
A different friend of mine, Real Life Super Hero Guy and I were taking the other day. Well he is going to be a dad soon. Like really soon-ish… well not any minute soon that still weeks away but soon. Anyway he was looking at things to buy for his kid. Things that the kids won’t be using anytime soon but it’s good to be prepared.
One such thing that made the hey lets have a look at this was a sit and spin. Oh yeah, I think these are manufactured in the vicinity of hell. Not because they are evil but because you can’t resist them. As a kid it is just fun to spin as fast as you can and then lay there an watch the world slowly spin back into focus… and you giggle for hours. Now I’m sure you are thinking what does this have to do with hell it sounds like fun. Well it is, for kids but that same can’t resist them doesn’t go away with age and you’ll see one as an adult and you’ll sit on one and spin your stupid ass around and then you feel it …oh… I’m standing too close to hell feeling and then you lay there on the ground wishing the world wasn’t spinning and it doesn’t appear to be coming to a stop any time soon and then when it does finally stop and you decide to sit up it starts again and then the wave of nausea hits you and you may get to see what you’ve even for the last few meals again in a less appealing visual and aromatic presentation.
Now you know you’ve done this once, and that will keep you from ever doing it again but every time you see a sit and spin you still want to sit on it and spin. You may even on closer inspection see that they are made in the vicinity of hell.
In other, other news.
Well… I was going to say something about CPG being a pain in the ass but I’m just tired of it. I may rant about it in a later edition of WTF Wednesday but for now I’ll just going to let it go, she’s makes Kyle’s mom from South Park seem like a nice lady.
Well, that’s all for now, other stuff tomorrow most likely
